This is a good book which cover a treatment that is a bit time consuming to say the least.

If you are like me and don’t want to spend hour upon hour treating your skin, then you use the product that worked for me.

What’s good about this book is that it gives you a good idea of how to go about treating acne and pimples… gives you a Four-Step Program that Immediately Helps to Improve Your Skin.

The products to use in this program are expensive though.

I probably spent $100 -120 for everything.

In the end it worked ok, but it’s a time consuming routine and I ended up taking shortcuts. That doesn’t work.

Avoid These Foods to Prevent Breakouts!

How I Avoid Acne Breakouts

The last thing you want is a back full of acne or a nose that is bright red from pimples.

What I have learned is that if I stay away from some foods, my acne treatment becomes much more effective.

Here I list the foods that causes breakouts for me.

1. Chocolate and Acne

Chocolate is often blamed for causing breakouts, but dermatologists says that chocolate won’t literally cause a break out.

High-sugar/high-fat diet can increase sebum production and promote inflammatory responses in the body and that can lead to acne.

For me chocolate is a no go. I can see a correlation between chocolate and pimples.

Chocolate seem to cause acne breakouts most on my chest and on my back, not so much in my face.

2. Spicy Foods and Acne

Some spicy foods will give me pimples in my T-zone.

It’s just some spicy foods like thai or chinese, mexican food and chili is no problem for me.

Maybe it’s something else in the food that causes the breakouts but I stay away from thai food and chinese food.

3. Cheese and Acne

I believe cheese causes acne breakouts for me.

4. Nuts and Acne

In fact most scientific research reveals the link between nuts and acne is still quite unknown.

For me though it’s an acne trigger.

Now my oldest son turned out to be allergic to all form of nuts, so this it’s not a problem for me any longer. We have no nuts in our home.

10. Potato Chips and Acne

If I eat them I will have a face full of pimples within a week. That’s just the way it is for me.

So potato chips are absolutely on my no go list.
