I have read a dozen books about acne, adult acne and acne treatments.
Some are good, some are crap…
…and some are just brilliant.
Some of the tips and tricks have had effect…
…and some have not.
In the end I can only recommend two very good books…
Real Solutions for Adult Acne: Cure Hormonal Acne with Science-Backed Treatments that Work
This book a good place to start your fight against acne.
It’s full of detailed information on the treatment of Adult Acne.
The book is based on extensive research and I find it well worth the money.
The author left nothing to chance, she covers all possible scenarios that could occur with adult acne, even a bit of dermatology was covered in the structure and layers of the skin.
“This book brought to life many different things for me! I love a self help book that I actually learn from. Though I read this book in hopes to finding an answer for my teen daughter and her problematic acne there was things in here I just didn’t know before! Now I know adult and teen acne are different but I can use some of the information in this book so I thank you for putting a book like this together!”
“This book is chock full of detailed information on the treatment of Adult Acne. I was impressed with the extent of the research that went into this book. The author left nothing to chance, she covers all possible scenarios that could occur with adult acne, even a bit of anatomy was covered in the structure and layers of the skin.
This is a great book in and of itself, but what I liked most was that several alternatives were given, from your typical drugs to natural remedies. Even the foods to include in your diet in the fight against adult acne were discussed. Highly recommend!”
- The four root causes of acne
- The most effective medications for each cause
- The best natural remedies backed by science
- The most effective treatments for red marks and scarring
- Which ingredients in your skincare products worsen acne
- A research-based diet for clear skin plus recipes
I can recommend this book.
The Acne Cure: The Nonprescription Plan That Shows Dramatic Results in as Little as 24 Hours
If you are like me and don’t want to spend hour upon hour treating your skin, then you use the product that worked for me.
What’s good about this book is that it gives you a good idea of how to go about treating acne and pimples…
..it gives you a Four-Step Program that Immediately Helps to Improve Your Skin.
The products to use in this program are expensive though.
I probably spent $100 -120 for everything.
In the end it worked ok, but it’s a time consuming routine and I ended up taking shortcuts. That doesn’t work.
“Good tips. I believed it help my issues with adult acne. I have had issues for years and this book seemed to help.”
“I had been on Accutane twice for my acne when I got this book a few years ago. Not horrific acne, but bad enough that my dermatologist let me get on Accutane. I wish I had read this book first… it really, really worked for me. I don’t think anything else I’ve ever purchased for five dollars has made such a change in my appearance.
I didn’t use the glycolic lotion like he suggests, I used glycolic face wash from MD Forte and that worked fine for me. I still use that face wash and buy it for people for Christmas presents!”
All in all a very good book and I recommend it.
